5 reasons you need Matcha in your life
If you are looking for a way to kick the coffee habit then you have found your matcha (Ha, I just had to!). I remember not too long ago waiting for my morning cafe. I would have 1-2 cups a day, that was a good day. It was no bueno, and it wasn’t until my digestive issues along with my acne got so bad that I decided to get off the dark stuff. I went a whole year not drinking coffee and never felt better. It was not easy, I just went cold turkey no substitutes but I did end up being a tea-fanatic, but I knew that I didn’t want to feel the way that I felt anymore, fogginess, anxiety like no other not to mention can’t leave the house without makeup make because of the acne so the core of the reason for me to quit was greater than the addiction itself, this is just me though there are some great options if you are looking to kick the habit and want some alternatives
I will say that I re-introduced coffee back into my life this past year just occasionally and although at first it was ok, I started to see the same issues start to creep back into my life, the acne, digestive issues and anxiety. So once again I had to say good-bye. The thing is I do enjoy something warm in the morning and thankfully now I know that there are better alternatives out there that have some healing properties. Please note, I am not saying that coffee is good or bad you just need to listen to your body and there are studies that show in small amounts there are some great benefits but for me, the stuff just does not agree with me so I have except it and move on.
One thing that I have been experimenting with is Matcha, yep a bit late but I am ok with that. I have heard about matcha of course and seen all the pretty green IG posts of if but to be quite frank, I just wasn’t that intrigued when people talked about it, and mainly I was uneducated about its benefits. I thought it was just another fad so I stayed clear that is until I did some of my own research. I have to say that I was very intrigued.
A couple of things to note with Matcha, like anything on the market you need to do your research so make sure you are buying a good quality one.
